This class is for kids that want to learn the wood manufacturing and team building skills necessary to create small production pieces ranging from banana racks and napkin holders to birdhouses out of softwood. Students will first learn the purpose and use of hand tools and then substitute their function with power tools and other machines. Safety training, materials processing, and project finishing will also be covered in this course.
